Team&Client Project Course

Registration period 30.5.2022–29.1.2023. Project, In English 30.1.2023–7.5.2023. During the Team and Client –project course students will practice project and teamwork skills and network with students in other fields. Students will implement a development project providing new ideas and knowledge for a real client in multicultural and multidisciplinary teams. Opintojakso on tarjolla suomeksi kesällä 2022.

Lean Startups

Registration period 15.8.2022–23.10.2022. Lectures 24.10.2022–12.12.2022. In this course, students will become entrepreneurs and startuppers. They will work on their own idea or develop a new business idea jointly from scratch. The students can simulate the life of a startup as a course exercise or establish a real company. The core goal of the course is to gain an increased understanding of how emergent innovations translate into commercial reality and might transform society. This course assumes that you have already completed your bachelor’s studies and you are currently doing your master’s or doctoral studies.

Creating Careers

Registration period 5.9.2021–30.11.2022. Online teaching 1.9.2021–31.12.2022. The course gives basic information about employment, search for work, and working life. The expert lectures, events, and workshops included in the course offer information about current working life topics and skills. The course aims to develop understanding and skills that will help you to plan and build your career path. The topics of the study sessions include, for example, the Finnish working culture, job markets, employment, and self-employment, writing of a CV, and information on how to market and promote your skills and competencies. The course can be completed with distance learning methods in JYU Moodle.
